I think the Bible is quite difficult to understand on many topics and in
many translations. I have studied it for hundreds of hours over the
years and and still come up short in understanding on many subjects.
There are so many different translations, denominations,
commentaries, etc.,that it is often difficult to come to an
understanding. Many times it has left me frustrated and troubled.
But there is a solution to all of that as summed up in one verse as
follows, John 3:16 EasyEnglish version, God loved the people in the
world so much that he gave his one and only Son on their behalf. So,
as a result, everyone who believes in the Son will not die. Instead,
they will live always.’
It is a great relief to know that God does not require us to study and
understand the entire Bible to have eternal life. We just need to believe
in Jesus His Son! We don’t have to spend hundreds of hours learning everything!!
